mr. bob really went above and beyond on wednesday....Picasso...i mean seriously, my child in nine lessons will be exposed to more artist/movements of art than most people....as you can see from the pic, my "tortured" artist is still not finished.....but you can get the general idea...

i had to pick her up early from school today due to septic issues at her school.....hmmm, i wasn't sure what that meant, i didn't ask and they didn't tell....needless to say, priss pot came home with me and due to the weather we relaxed with snacks and a movie....

ok, so i have felt like doo-doo this week.....sore throat, congestion, cough, green stuff, etc....to make my point without grossing you out....i haven't taken a picture of audrey's latest pic....it is coming.....they did a picasso-like picture ~ quite interesting.....audrey says she needs to color more....one way or another i will post it soon.....pity party over.....good night....

while brett was here enjoying some fellowship & golf among the men folk, mom and i had a fun saturday of errands, eating (edgar's - lunch & pf changs - dinner ~ yum-o!), carousel rides, shopping & aggrevating children by dragging them from store to store :)

the kids really were great....i haven't drug them along for a full day of shopping/errands in a long time.....when we got home audrey put on quite a performance for us.....grammy suprised her with a sweet ballet outfit and shoes....i think after seeing her and looking at the pics, we may have a tiny dancer on our hands.....she has wanted so badly to do dance lessons, so i guess it will be next after softball....one thing is for sure ~ she will be quite a well rounded child by the time she reaches 5!! i love it that she wants to try so many different things but maybe we can narrow this down to like two favorite things soon :)

during audrey's performance, silly boy grant ran around in circles around her.....maybe he thought he was dancing too, who knows!! he absolutely loves his new little puppy dog he got at christmas....for the past few nights he has loved up on him and me while going to sleep....so sweet :) he is quite passionate about everything in his life and it keeps us on our toes at all times!! he gave mom quite a scare at lunch, biting a plastic fork apart in his mouth.....destruct-o mani-o at his finest....but god-love, look at those thighs....only at 19 months can you get away with that being so dang cute!!!

while we were at michael's house for mom's birthday (see post below) he opened up his motorcross trailer and let the kids, well mostly grant, sit on his bike....the girls liked it but grant loved it!! he now says, "mike bike, mike bike!" over and over again :) hey, i am pretty sure his uncle would absolutely love for him to ride and, if he promises to train him, that could be a possibilty....olivia was so cute up there too! heck, if mike had his way, he would have her riding a bike too i'm sure!....grant loves anything with wheels or dirt or handlebars....he was quite a happy boy!

grammy's birthday soiree...

gram's birthday is wednesday so we thought we would celebrate earlier instead of later.....we all gathered at michael's house yesterday for lunch of tuscan pasta, salad, garlic bread and birthday cupcakes...yum-o!...food was good, family time was great! the cousins had a wonderful time playing together as always and mom got a new, fancy pan/skillet thingy (sorry, don't know the correct term) that we know she is going to whip us all up something wonderful in :)

audrey spent the night with isabella and payton seeing as she didn't have school today and the rest of the family had to work....brett is picking her up from the peach park in clanton as we speak/blog....we have another fun-filled, busy week ahead as i'm most of you do....

happy heart day....

i hope everyone is enjoying this day with the ones they love......i know i am!!

we started bright and early with the LoveBug coming to visit and the kids passing out their valentines to us....so cute....of course, the LoveBug (as does the EasterBunny) always uses opportunities like this to bring sensible, needed items ~ two new articles of clothing, headbands for audrey, big boy forks for grant and it wouldn't be v'day without one small box of chocolate :)

audrey had softball practice, grant and i stayed home and cuddled up and then we all went for a valentine lunch.....yum-o! audrey asked why we weren't going out at dinner time and we quickly told her how crazy it would be out tonight....

audrey and i are about to finish up cupcakes for grammy's birthday party tomorrow.... and the boys are outside washing the cars....nice, so nice....

enjoying the weather...

we have absolutely been enjoying this BEAUTIFUL weather!! below are a few pics from yesterday....as i have said before.....my backyard is the greatest playpen ever!! each afternoon i have been pushing them out the door to play and not letting them back in till dark.....i do throw them a snack and something to drink :) ....they both love being outside and i am sure this weather will not last, so we are enjoying it while we can! they got these aprons from their daycare last year.....how cute are my little home depot workers?!?!?
