not too bad if i do say so myself.....a little creative engineering and there ya have it.....and to beat all that...on a thursday night...wow...i must really be losing it, we usually reserve utter *sillyness* to the weekend!

just a whole lot of hanging around this week....and that's ok....a basically *normal* week for us....so you guys know what normal means?....lacking in pics....but i did snap a few here & there...

miss priss LOVES puzzles.....she has mastered the "baby" puzzles....even the 100 piece large piece puzzles...we've moved her up to the 150-300 small piece puzzles.....yeah, these are a bit more challenging for her.....thank goodness! she was flying through the others way too fast :) ..... though i'm sure it won't take her long to figure these out...

big man enjoy puzzles too.....his attention span is still a bit lacking....but he has fun anyway!....what is amusing about his puzzle solving is that he just crams pieces together as hard as he can ~ even if they don't match up....typical male.... hopefully sissy will teach him a thing or two....

though there was one activity going on that *little mr. fix-it* really loved......helping daddy repair the sink....

cabin fever...

this weekend brett & i had a little *cabin fever* at our family cabin in north georgia.....so relaxing & absolutely gorgeous weather.....so wonderful to have a little kid-free time with some great friends...

though we were missing two other great friends.....we love you sara & tommy!!.....brett, heather, brandon & i enjoyed the serenity of the mountains, played some games, ate *lots* of food & watched movies....good times...

to say the lake was down a bit low would be an understatement..... and funny when the water drops low, other things drop into eye sight.....yeah, brett fished that baby out before we left...

beautiful weekend.....perfect...

mama's boy.....

i never really liked that expression.......mama's boy.....it brought with it an infliction of weakness, a *sissy* boy.....yeah well, then i had a boy.....whoa, hold the phone....my boy is far, FAR from weak or a sissy but he is all mine....i let his dad have possession of him every now and then....you know, for sports, tackling, peeing standing up, etc....audrey has most definitely been a daddy's girl....i mean from birth!....but she is finally realizing i'm a lot of fun too....like fancy lunches with just the girls, painting our nails, art days, etc....

and that's just it....soon grant will realize that daddy is much more *boy fun* than i am.....and that's fine....but for now he's my boy.....

a lovebug & a birthday...

.....what a busy sunday!

the *lovebug* visited the kids at grams' house sunday morning...

clothes & a little chocolate for both kids.... undies & magnetic doll for brother.....bottlecap necklace for sissy.... all makes for happy *loved* kids...

and the fun wasn't over with the *lovebug*.....grammy's birthday!! after lunch we headed over to my sister's to celebrate grams...

cake, presents & family.....doesn't get much better than that....well, other than michael & olivia who were of course missed!

saturday afternoon we headed down to grammy's house for the rest of the weekend.....she still had a little bit of snow left so we couldn't resist....we had to build her a snowman too!....

when i say we built a snowman....you know i really mean brett, audrey & grant built a snowman....someone had to take pics :)

god love audrey!......she pushed and pulled and rolled her little heart out making an awesome snowball to use...

we were taking a hint from the canadians......importing a little snow....just to put on the final touch!

not wanting to *waste* the water, i continued to decorate our yard...happy heart day!

and well....i couldn't leave the bushes out....though i must admit, after i mixed the blue & red it all started having a mardi gras theme!

and where were the kids with all this fun going on??
audrey was spending the night with a friend & grant was inside thawing out....just goes to prove when it comes to snow we adults are just *big* kids on the inside....such a fun afternoon for me!!
