i never really liked that expression.......mama's boy.....it brought with it an infliction of weakness, a *sissy* boy.....yeah well, then i had a boy.....whoa, hold the phone....my boy is far, FAR from weak or a sissy but he is all mine....i let his dad have possession of him every now and then....you know, for sports, tackling, peeing standing up, etc....audrey has most definitely been a daddy's girl....i mean from birth!....but she is finally realizing i'm a lot of fun too....like fancy lunches with just the girls, painting our nails, art days, etc....
and that's just it....soon grant will realize that daddy is much more *boy fun* than i am.....and that's fine....but for now he's my boy.....

I love the picture of both of you together. I read somewhere about moms always being behind the camera and getting few, if any, pictures of themselves doing something fun WITH their children, thereby leaving hardly any pictures of "mom and me" for their children to cherish later in life. Good job stepping in FRONT of the camera!
I am with you on the mama's boy not being so weak and sissyish! As years come, he may not want to be on your team (like last weekend when NOONE wanted to be on my team for ladder ball and beanbag tossing in the backyard) but you will still have his heart (like this morning while in carline, Cole just came out of left field with a big kiss on the cheek and I love you, Mommy!! Just don't let him pretend that your kisses get yucky! Don't let them outgrow that; be prepared to bring on more with some added tickles or squeezes when you get a smiling "EW!!" or "YUCK!"
