this weekend brett and i got away.....

without the kids!

he strikes again....

...this time at mcwane center! trying to out do himself from thursday, friday daddy daycare headed to mcwane....and he took the camera again!!...gotta love it :)

they have an adorable mr. potato head exhibit going on right now!

they also have a few other new exhibits which are really neat.....but...one happens to be taking over the spot where the car used to be....ugh...my kids LOVE working on that car...brett said they really enjoyed the new exhibit too....just not as much!

oh i love those eyes too!!....and those gorgeous long lashes :)

daddy daycare begins.....

well here it is first day of daddy daycare & he totally out did himself.....the zoo!!....big man's last regular day of pre-school was yesterday and today was their field trip....brett loaded up sissy & brother and headed over to the zoo to meet them.....and even better than that, he even took the camera!!...i love him so much...and i am so glad he captured these shots....

so i am at work today and get this text ~ "the kids rode a camel"....wow! i smiled immediately, then was sad for a moment because i didn't see them....ugh, working for a living stinks sometimes....but then i get home to find all these pics on my camera.....again, i love him...

i mean, how stinkin' cute are they on that camel....and so brave!!!....next on the daddy daycare agenda ~ mcwane center....whoohoo, these kids are going to love having their daddy home with them all summer...well, that is until football workouts start up and they are mandatory water boys/girls all summer :)

the last day....

of kindergarten for our sweet girl!!

i was so excited when i got home this afternoon to find out that my sweet hubby snapped this pic of sissy before school this morning!....such a good husband, who knows me so well :)

when our now *first grader* got home from school & water fun at the reid's, she had a card & flowers from her mom & dad....we are so very proud of her!!....we even let her pick dinner tonight...mexican!!...surprise, surprise, surprise....i swear the child is going to turn into a quesadilla!

a little flash back to the first day of kindergarten....my, my how she has grown!!

may day play day.....

...and what a day it was!!

sis was all geared up & ready to go!!....may day play day is a glorified field day....and was it ever!! .... inflatables, water slides, relay races, etc.., etc.. ETC..!!

first event was a gym relay race.....and then snack!....yup, at 8:30am the kiddos were eating hotdogs & chips....wow!

we then moved on to face painting & the wacky world jump house....

after all that fun was sack races.....good times!!....oh and i must admit for a moment that those blue eyes below just make me melt.....beautiful :)

i had to leave the group to volunteer for a little bit at the tug of war, which was a lot of fun!.....when i got back the kiddos were soaking wet from the water slide & ready to change....after a quick change & lunch, they headed back out for more fun....the three-legged race!

then it was time for a magic show...

no rest for the weary here.....back outside in the heat for our last *event*....another relay race with a twist at the end....dressing up the teacher :)

and to finish this great day.....creme pops & signing each others shirts...so much fun!! i had a great time being at the school all day too :)

...and tomorrow is my sweet girl's last day of kindergarten....wow, how the time has literally flown by!!....unbelievable...i am so proud of her!!
