our show & the art show....

....hi, i am the *curator* of this blog.....and well, i've been slacking lately....i mean horribly slacking....so this is me ~ making up for my blogging break.....prepare yourself for several posts over the next few days....you have been warned :)

to begin....the mother's & father's day show and the art show at sissy's school...

miss priss giving us out gifts & crafts.....i loved my necklace!

this is one special kindergartener.....hard to believe this first year of *real* school is almost over!

after we were given our gifts, we headed to the gymnasium for the kindergarten singing program....so, so cute!!! they sang several songs and were just precious :)

after singing was library time, PE & then the Art Show....miss priss was so excited to show me her artwork, get to look at other students artwork & to meet a *real* artist....what a fun morning!

the artist this year was very neat.....i really enjoyed listening to him speak & learning about his art...

sissy loved getting a chance to sculpt the horse's head....

and loved showing me her art...

these girls have had a blast getting to know each other in class this year!!

fun with friends....

....thursday afternoon miss priss & brother man got a special afternoon treat.....WATERSLIDE!!....and boy was it fun! with the 90 degree temps we've been having it was a perfect day :)

we really appreciate our sweet friends, the reids, having us over for the afternoon! and this day kept getting better....fun sliding, lots more friends and popsicles!!

even sweet baby siblings joined the big kids too!.....precious boy :)

and the yummy treats!! popsicles and sorbets....so good :) and as you can see below....brother man really enjoyed all his treats!

not one popsicle.....nope not even two....somehow he managed to get his hands on three!!

to say the child had a bit of brain freeze is a bit of an understatement....

all better...

thanks again reid family for the fun-filled afternoon....we look forward to many more this summer....hint, hint...LOL!!

saturday was sissy's last softball game of the season and her team party!!

GREAT SEASON!!

my hubby did a great job coaching if i do say so myself....though he did have a lot of help from other great coaches and dads...he couldn't have done it without them!!

he was so cute visiting with all the girls at the party....he really is great with kids, i have always known that!

the little siblings were having a great time at the party too!.....i swear these two could be brother & sister :)

after the girls ate some great pizza coach passed out the trophies....the girls were so excited!

wow!!....great season, great friends & great times had by all! i think the parents had just as much fun as the kids :) we are trying to figure out a way to keep this team together every year!

with all the excitement and fun of the party we forgot to get the classic family photos....so we got our pics when we got home....

This picture above has been selected by Parent Magazine as a Weekly Photo Fav!....I mean WOW!....I entered a few pics of the kids for fun....I've done things like this before but nothing ever pans out....I mean there are thousands and thousands of pics....But I am thrilled!....IF *big IF* she should be chosen this week then she goes into another contest with the top 11 weekly favorites....IF *another big IF* she is then chosen, she (we) would go to New York for a real photo shoot and the *chance* to be on the cover of Parent Magazine.....LOTS of IFs and honestly I am so tickled she was even chosen at this level!!....

All this to say....I need YOUR help!.....To get her to the top YOU have to vote....once a day, everyday this week until Sunday....Just a small favor from my favorite blogger friends....See, she is currently in 242nd place...and now my little competitive streak is shining through :)....LOL!
