happy, happy day...

....to my THREE year old baby boy today!!!

i still can't believe it has been three years since this little man has entered our world!....he is a precious, wild & crazy, sweet, loving, rough & tough *all boy* little man that we love so much!!

....we can't wait to see what the next three years bring with this guy ~ always an adventure...and we love it!!!

dad's day weekend....

....we headed over to georgia for father's day weekend...saturday was perfect ~ the men played golf and the women & children headed to uncle blake's pool!!....good times....

big man's hairdo is what happens when sunscreen & thick hair collide!....of course, i *may have* helped it stick up a little bit :)

big man got a bit obsessed with the water hose....he was shooting everybody....dixie included!

snacktime, rest time.....one of very few i was able to get in them during the day!....i thought they were going to prune up before the day was over...

and then our sweet friends stopped by for a visit!!.....i was more than happy to give sweet baby boy a swim in the pool :) the kids had so much fun together...precious!!

sunday was a great day with more family time....great mamaw & papaw and uncle marty even joined all of us for breakfast.....uncle blake grilled some delicious pork chops for late lunch...games, playtime & cake made the day complete...

now we are getting ready for a busy week around here....brother's birthday tomorrow, vacation bible school for sissy, lake time with friends, FCA camp for daddy, a little work for mommy, etc...whew!...relaxing will be in order next weekend for sure!

with all the birthday madness and such going on, posting about VBS last week got skipped over.....what a great vacation bible school!...miss priss had an awesome time with her friends at their church....we were able to join on friday for family day.....lots of fun, great message & great songs!

then poor mrs. lyn, the children's minister, had to kiss a cow!! the boys and girls had a friendly competition over the offering....well the boys won, so she puckered up!

though the cowboys didn't get left out.....they still had to participate in the pie eating contest and one cowboy got a little extra!!....the kids loved all the excitement :)

brother couldn't resist getting to pet the precious four week old baby calf.....he was all dressed up to watch sissy sing too!! my own little cowboy...

next week will be our VBS at our church.....high seas expedition....you know there will be plenty more pics!

our sweet friends invited miss priss and i to the pool today for some sun, fun & relaxing!!...we really appreciate it and had a great day :)

saturday when my in-laws came over for the kids' party they brought me these gorgeous flowers from their yard.....my mother-in-law loves hydrangeas too but would just prefer they not be purple, so i reaped the benefit!!....they beauties were absolutely stunning & huge....unbelievable!!....i want a hydrangea bush in my yard so badly ~ hint, hint hubby :) but for now i will enjoy the splendor from yards of others or a trip to pepper place...

posh puppy soiree....

....for a friend's sixth birthday!!

m.a.e. dolls was the location of the fabulous soiree....so . stinkin' . cute!...i only snapped a few pics when sis and i were about to leave....with fancy nancy being the theme we were quite prepared!....miss priss loves some fancy nancy!....

each girl was able to pick out a puppy, stuff her and then choose a tiara for their posh puppy...lots of fun! cupcakes, fashion show, mini carousel ride and the party was quite complete....precious :)
