....in the zoo!!
i hope where ever you are, your weekend was as beautiful as ours!! wow....gorgeous weather ~ finally! we were at the zoo saturday morning within 30 minutes of it opening.....and so began our weekend of family fun...
though i must admit....starting our adventures at the reptile house was NOT my idea of fun.....yuck!! but i was sorely out numbered....at least we made it through quickly....i mean with all the beautiful, warm blooded animals in the zoo why in the world would you want to spend time with snakes....yuck!! oh and i guess the fact that i have a wee bit of a phobia about snakes doesn't help matters :)
moving right along....warm, fuzzy kangaroos....much better!
gotta feed a bird or two...
....though we do love our zoo, the construction was a bit of a downer....but it is for a good cause....and grant loved checking out all the diggers about as much as the animals....this one in particular caught our eye...
now time to meet some relatives....the primate house....we love monkeys!...and i love these two monkeys the BEST :)
yes, i ask random people to take a family pic....i'm that person :)
and of course, the view is always much better from way up here....
can't complete a trip to the zoo without a merry-go-round ride...
a boy and a tractor....priceless...
