.....this little girl, ahem ~ this little rule follower...
...has declared it TV free week in our house!
oh, and this little boy.....ha! he is not too excited about it...
but...when the school says we should ALL observe tv free week then by golly, we will ALL observe tv free week! the only way for my little *rule follower*... i mean seriously...do the teachers at sissy's school realize my obsession with grey's anatomy?!!?! thank goodness for DVR!
so, what did we do on our first afternoon of tv free week?? .... oh, please let me interupt for a small pity party ~ tv free week happens to be the same week as spring football practice! nice, real nice...anyhoo, we went outside and we ate flavor-ice, we played a little ball, we swang, we did chalk art & puzzles....
big man gave up & decided to just watch sissy....he didn't love the ball popping up at him :)
my little rule follower.....god love her....she is so precious and we are so very thankful for her everyday.....do we wish she would follow our rules as well as school & church rules?? why yes! but she can't be perfect all the time :) we really enjoyed our fun afternoon and look forward to more this week.....but i must admit, we always enjoy our family time....regardless of watching tv together or not...

tv free week may be the death of me! = ) But my little rule follower will not let us turn on the tv either. We turned in three little yellow slips this morning! She is bound and determined to finish the whole page. Good Luck! I have a feeling by Thursday we will need it!
I might be able to photograph a snake in the yard, but you are a better woman than me declaring no tv. How would I even get to go to the bathroom????
