meet the teacher day....

...is *almost* as exciting as the first day of school i think!! sis woke up ready to meet her teacher first thing this morning...not so fast sassafrass, it wasn't until 2pm! we kept ourselves busy with lots of girlie stuff....like manicures and pedicures, lunch with great friends & running errands....

after we met our kindergarten teacher last year we all went to lunch so why not continue a precious tradition!

though i think the girls were much more interested in their dessert than their lunch....but could you blame them?!?!

after lunch we ran those errands and then headed to the school, finally, to meet the teacher! sissy was basically running to the door....i got her to slow down long enough for a quick pic...

and then she spotted her name.....and the name of her sweet friend she just had lunch with....yeah!!...we are going to have a fun year....she actually has several friends in her class...

desk buddies....if they don't talk too much :)

sis also found her other sweet friend....they are not in the same class this year but will see lots of each other at football games, gymnastics & more....sis really wanted all her favorite girls in the same class!!

i can't believe i forgot to get a pic of miss priss with her teacher!! i will have to get it in the morning....yes, i am walking her in for her first day of school :)

tonight after supper, baths & picking out our clothes we settled in for a good night story...

of course, big man had to read his books too...

my precious babes!! they are getting too big, too fast...

we also gave miss priss some *real* bookmarks for all her chapter books she is going to be reading this year....she loved them!! she immediately found the perfect book to put it in...
