105th birthday bash....

today was the big man's 105th birthday bash.....audrey wanted to know if he was going to blow out candles on a cake & grant kept singing happy birthday....oh those childlike moments, precious!

so vulcan park was turned into one big birthday party...after church & lunch we headed over for the fun....we had a great time.....

miss priss got all jazzed up for the party....her idea....while there she had another wild idea....pet a snake....actually she touched two snakes, a lizard, some furry creature and talked to a bird! CRAZY!! this is the child who saturday morning had to sit on top of brett's 6ft4in shoulders at the farmer's market because she was afraid of a few dogs......odd, just odd, i say!

Get Rhythm! was there beating their drums....so cool & very interactive....john scalici was leading everyone and anyone could join in....audrey spotted two of her teachers from school & joined in with the beat....

next was the fun of balloon animals & face painting.....brett stood in one line while i stood in the other....you know you're a parent when you strategize the waiting in line!!! the clowns did a great job with everything.....this was grant's first time getting his face painted, we thought a dragon suited him well and audrey loved her full face butterfly!

ashley mac's was there with some yum-o cupcakes.....the kids were able to add their own toppings.....

we ended our day with some good ol' blue bell ice-cream....
