christmas party galore....

.....santa, snacks, crafts & more!!

yesterday was one fun-filled day for audrey & her classmates!! the last day before christmas break and they were having a blast.....santa came to visit first & heard all their wishes...

next on the agenda was a visit from their pen-pals in second grade.....they were all dressed up as Whos from How the Grinch Stole Christmas.....so cute!!! they made an ornament with the kids and then read to them the story....i loved seeing how sweet & patient the older kids were to our kindergartners....precious...

after lunch, a little movie & a beautiful story it was time for the christmas party!! i think the kids must have asked every 5 minutes...."when is the party?".....God bless kindergarten teachers....the celebration started with a yummy snack & then quickly moved on to Christmas Centers.....
first up, jingle bells...
next, decorating gingerbread cookies...
then, making a bag of bird seed....
and decorating a bird feeder!
face painting fun!!
and making a beautiful ornament for the tree!
after all the centers, the kids also exchanged gifts.....they had each drawn a name secretly....quite fun watching their excited little faces....the kids also gave us our presents.......a beautiful glass candy dish, decorated by them!! very cute & audrey was very proud....i loved it!!
one of her sweet friends from class....
it was such a fun day!! i wasn't planning on staying all day but i ended up helping audrey's teacher with stuff.....plus, i love being able to volunteer when i can.....before i know it audrey won't want me within 3 feet of her & her classmates so i am going to enjoy it while i can :) next week is grant's christmas program & party.....more pics to follow!

Love Audrey's polka dotted dress! Do you think I could get one in Andrew's size? Maybe Courtney would make a hair bow to match! ;-)Why, oh why, do all the cute clothes have to be for girls!!!! Finding adorable boy clothes is no easy task and I have had to come to grips that my little boy is too big for smocked clothing. I am truly in mourning!

Wow what a great party our was not near as action packed as yours. Although, the craft was pretty cool if I do say so myself. =)
