.... monday night, after a long day of work, the ladies headed out for a little dinner & painting....sips & strokes is such a neat place and a great idea!

ready or not.....here we go!!
finished *product* below......hmmm, ok....so, while we were starting the cross....trying to get everything lined up just perfect, my ocd kicked in big time.....seriously, you wonder where audrey gets it?? needless to say, i screwed up...terribly....in a fit of rage i take my brush & paint over the entire canvas in hopes of somewhat starting over.....ugh.....i started with such promise....anyhoo, it was supposed to be a delicate, antiqued cross....i.e. teacher pet, yonna's on the right..... beautiful!...mine ended up short & stubby & kinda chubby....sorta a theme in my life...
oh well, it is what it is.....the best part & something i do *love* about it is the verse i stamped in the middle....yes, in ALL my ways!!
....i can honestly say i overall had a blast and would love to do it again....and i don't totally hate my painting....i may find a spot for it in the laundry room :)
.....the amazing part of painting with this many people is how each & every canvas looks totally different....at this point below i am feeling pretty good about my painting....good base (l-r: andrea's, mine, yonna's), great colors...now ready for the cross....or so i thought!

I think you did great! It is beautiful! Your OCD is blinding you!
I love the painting and I did this as well and found that the more you let go the better it is - I think that is the point Kelly and trust me it took a bottle to get me there!
