gingerbread creation...

sunday was an awesome family fun day!.....we started the day with a great church service...audrey & all the other 4k-5k kiddos sang a couple songs for us...such a sweet, precious sound....and i just had to snap this pic of my christmas babes before church....love it!



lunch and then it was time to get to business....first the kids changed into something more comfortable....audrey's shirt says it all!!

.....the gingerbread *house*.....i use the term house loosely......we are no architects, contractors or designers....by any means!!....

bare house.....no decor.....ready to be embellished.....ready for chaos.....

audrey started off trying to be so precise & perfect.....the icing didn't quite cooperate for her....grant!?!....well, let's just say at one point i really was waiting to be cleaning up vomit any second.....he ate so much icing & candy in a matter of mere moments....

the finished *product*......ummm, yeah....it's definitely kid friendly, kid decorated & kid loved....and that's all that matters!
