but we managed to fill our day with fun......lunch & helping uncle michael & olivia decorate their christmas tree....i must admit, there is something to be said for decorating a *faux* tree....the limbs don't cry & sag pitifully each time you place an ornament....oh well, just one of the tribulations i deal with to have my real tree every year :)
uncle michael had to take a turn lifting each kid up high to decorate "up there" too! 
ya think grant was a bit tired of being bossed around by these ladies??
and to complete the day......christmas vacation!! our favorite :)
though we didn't get downtown to the parade or funnel cakes *tear, sniffle*....we did thoroughly enjoy ourselves! thanks again michael for letting us help trim your tree!

i can't believe it got rained out! I didn't know they would allow that because I remember a few years walking or riding on a float dripping wet and having soggy napkins stuck to me from the float :)
