my monster & his musings...

this is my monster...his musings are quite *amusing*....

i must say he looks like a linebacker in his awesome patriots shirt! maybe a vision of things to come :)

lately, grant has *come into his own*....to say the least....his vocabulary & speech are incredible to me for his age....i'm sure big sister has a lot to do with that ~ she's like talking to a 14 year old...he says LOTS of funny, sweet things and i try to remember or jot them down when i can....this child never ceases to amaze me and will forever be my strong-willed, passionate, thick-headed, loving, tough little boy....i am holding on to my seat for a wild ride because i know the *terrible twos* have nothing on the *terrifying threes*....

My Monster's Musings...

"God is a Tractor!"....umm yeah, his love for John Deere's and God are right up there together :)

"The B-I-B-L-E….yea, dat da book for MEEEE!"…..while rockin’ out on his guitar….

As I was talking about loving my quirky little house the other day he says…."I love Jesus’ house too!"

Or as he is having a *schroeder moment* on his little piano….."Jesus love me, yes Jesus love me"….continues through the whole song with a big emphasis on ~ "and he is STRONG!"....arms in the air like a muscle man..

….we are wondering if we have a pastor or minister of music on our hands!

A few more funnies….

The other day, when curious if he had pooped his pants he quite emphatically told me “it just gas mommy!”

At any moment while browsing through the grocery store he can be known to shout “ya need cold beer daddy?!!” at the top of his lungs!

He LOVES to tell you secrets….though it is generally just to tell you that he loves the other parent...

"I wanna watch d-d-d-d-Dora!"

And his immediate demand in the morning…."gits & eggs….i want gits & eggs now!"....yeah, that would be grits & eggs and we are working on how we ask for stuff!

….and i also must admit if brett or i ever have a real human moment and slip up and say something we shouldn't (potty words as audrey calls them)….grant happily, correctly & loudly repeats it all over the house….nice, real nice…

but seriously....just look at that face....eat.him.up! he is going to play me like a fiddle i'm sure but i must enjoy these wild & crazy boy moments before he is towering over me, all grown up....oh by the way....there is only 7 inches difference in grant and audrey but yet 3 years in age!! wow...

Those are precious musings! Don't you love the faith of a child?
